Guess I'll be passing on that.. Critical acclaim and awards often mean nothing. I still remember all the critcs raving about 'Joe Vs. The Volacano'
We walked out of the theatre for fear of death from ennui.
I also remember renting 'Out of Africa' as it ran away with a bunch of Oscars. I was suicidally bored within 20 minutes..tried to watch some more, and at the end of the first hour, yanked that video out of my VCR and put on some Van Halen.

It was an okay movie. That's about it.

I'm really tired of the Anti-Hollywood, "festival" storyline where the events that occur are realtively pointless snippets from somebody's mundane life.

I don't think it was worth all the recognition it got... it probably would have been passed over had it not been for her "family" relations.

I could care less about all the hype, critics, blah, blah, BS crapola. I never pay attention to that shit. I like this film lots. Bill Murray fucking rules!

I saw it at the movies and I enjoyed it. True, not much realy happened, but I just love Bill Murray.

One of the better movies of late. And with Japan as the backdrop, it couldn't miss. Sophia Capola, regardless of what the clueless think, made a brilliant movie. Bill Murray was just perfect.
